Spring Break!

Just thought I'd post today about the commencement of our spring break 2014. A lot is going on this week and many eventful plans can be made to ensure a pleasure-filled spring break. For instance, the PAC-12 tournament is finishing up in Vegas tonight with our own Arizona Wildcats facing the less dominating, but tough team that is UCLA. Another great and popular sporting event going on is the tennis tournament in Palm Springs at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for the BNP Paribas Open. This is considered the fifth grand slam because of its purse size and the fact that all the highest pro's want to win it. The semi-finals are today; featuring Federer and Djokovic, we'll have to see who will make it to the finals, premiering tomorrow morning.
Traveling is also huge part of the break for everyone. Most of the news I've heard from other Arizona students is that Cabo is the place to be. I can only imagine how over-run that place gets with college kids during these couple weeks.
I, myself am heading up to San Francisco next week to visit some old friends who graduated from the University last year. It's been over 10 years since I have been up north, but with the cities main income being from tourism, I am sure I will have my handful of things to do up there. So get out and go where you want, but be sure and keep an eye out for our Wildcats and check out the tennis.
